Polychronis Koutsakis is an accomplished academic professional with extensive experience in information technology and engineering. Currently serving as the Associate Dean for External Engagement and an Associate Professor at Murdoch University since January 2016, Polychronis has also held roles as Senior Lecturer in Information Technology. In addition to this position, Polychronis is the Principal of the Greek Language and Culture Institute of Evangelismos, a role undertaken since February 2022. Prior to Murdoch University, Polychronis worked at the Technical University of Crete from January 2009 to January 2016 as an Associate and Assistant Professor in the School of Electronic and Computer Engineering, and held a similar position at McMaster University from July 2006 to December 2008. Polychronis holds an Engineer's Degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Patras and a PhD in Computer Networking from the Technical University of Crete.
