Alison Black, PhD, currently serves as a Lecturer and Unit Coordinator at Curtin University since October 2021, and has been a Senior Quality Coordinator at Murdoch University since March 2011. Previous positions include Lecturer at Challenger Institute of Technology from April 2010 to March 2011, Senior Lecturer at Loughborough College from September 2006 to January 2010, and Inspector at Ofsted from December 1998 to January 2010. Additional roles encompass Director of Quality at The Central Colleges from September 2004 to September 2006, and Curriculum and Quality Manager and Head of School at Leicester College from September 1995 to September 2004. Alison Black holds a BA Hons in English, Education & Women’s Studies from De Montfort University, a Master of Education from Murdoch University, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Education from Murdoch University.
