Justin Maurer has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Starting in 2005, they worked as an HR Learning & Development Consultant at Adecco. In 2007, they joined Johnson Controls as a Sr. Web Applications Analyst, responsible for developing and supporting internal applications. During their time there, they also served as a Connected Community Application Manager, where they defined and executed the technical roadmap for Johnson Controls Connected Community. Maurer then joined Stratagem, Inc as a Software Development Consultant in 2014, where they migrated applications and developed new features. In 2015, they moved to Concurrency, Inc as a Senior Software Developer, advising clients and leading a team for a financial services client. Maurer joined Northwestern Mutual in 2019 as a Senior Software Engineer, working on a mainframe-based underwriting platform and mentoring the development team. Currently, they work at Mural as a Senior Software Engineer, contributing to the development of enterprise features for the MURAL Collaboration product.
