Stephen Lowe has worked as a Physicist at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory since 1987 and as a Scientist at Muon Space since 2023.

Stephen Lowe attended Colorado School of Mines from 1976 to 1980, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Physics and a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics. Stephen then attended Stanford University from 1980 to 1986, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Elementary Particle Physics.
