Jamey Smith is a Data Platform Software Engineer at Muon Space since October 2024. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Machine Learning and MLOps Engineer at Regrow Ag, where Jamey designed and developed pipelines for data science algorithms and earth observation data product generation. Previous roles include Data Scientist positions at Ramboll and Fraym, as well as an Earth Data Fellow at Development Seed, concentrating on predictive modeling using remotely sensed imagery. Jamey also contributed as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, Davis, in biogeography and horticultural innovation. Jamey's earlier career involved managing intellectual property at Birch River LLC and Inventure Renewables, along with content management for Elsevier Biofuel TechSelect. Jamey holds a Master of Science in International Agricultural Development from the University of California, Davis, and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Environmental Studies from Connecticut College.
