Sandrine van Noort is an experienced curator and educator in contemporary art, currently serving as Curator of the biennale Noordwijk and a member of the Zaanstad art committee since May 2022. Sandrine also holds the position of guest lecturer for the Honours class at Leiden University, focusing on the intersection of art observation and medical practice. Since 2007, Sandrine has been the Head of Arts at Leiden University Medical Center, overseeing the development of a contemporary art collection and serving as curator for exhibition spaces. Sandrine's prior roles include membership on various art juries and committees, including the Stadscuratorium for the Lucas van Leydenfonds in Leiden and the Hermine van Bers Beeldende Kunstprijs jury. Sandrine van Noort holds two Master’s degrees from the University of Amsterdam, one in Art History and another in History.
