Ronald Koekkoek is an experienced project leader with a background in spatial transformation and urban planning. Currently serving as Projectleider at Gemeente Noordwijk since January 2019, Ronald Koekkoek facilitates the conversion of the former Bavo psychiatric facility site into a sustainable residential area, aiming for a maximum of 700 homes. Alongside this role, Ronald Koekkoek was responsible for the renovation of Sports Park De Boekhorst from 2019 to 2022. Prior to this, Ronald Koekkoek held various positions at Gemeente Noordwijkerhout from April 2002 to December 2018, including Projectleider and Teamleider, and served as a Juridisch beleidsadviseur and Juridisch medewerker at Gemeente Zederik from February 1998 to April 2002. Ronald Koekkoek obtained a Doctorandus degree in Geografie, Planologie en Milieu from Utrecht University between 1994 and 1997.
