Martijn Tiersma is an experienced advisor in sustainable mobility, currently working at Gemeente Noordwijk since February 2020. Responsibilities include collaboration on sustainable mobility initiatives in the Holland Rijnland region, focusing on cycling, shared mobility, and charging infrastructure. Martijn has been actively involved in various electoral processes, serving as a chairman and member of a polling station during the Tweede Kamerverkiezingen in 2021 and as chairman for the Gemeenteraadsverkiezingen in 2022. Additional roles include supervisor and tally leader for recent provincial and European elections. Previous positions include work in traffic and mobility at Sement Overheid B.V. and a part-time role at Voort Horticulture B.V. Martijn holds a Master of Science in Human Geography and a Bachelor of Science in Social Geography and Planning from Utrecht University, complemented by a secondary education from Christelijk Gymnasium Sorghvliet.
