Babette Sybertz has extensive experience in strategic communications and public relations, currently serving as the Head of Global Strategic Communications & Public Relations at Munich Re since July 2011. Previously, Babette held various leadership roles at ERGO, including Head of Strategic Topics & Corporate Events, where responsibilities included planning and managing key strategic communications projects and consulting the Board of Management. Babette's earlier career includes roles as a freelance journalist and corporate communication consultant, as well as serving as the Manager of the Press Department at Messe Düsseldorf, where duties involved developing PR concepts and managing media relations for international trade fairs. Babette holds a Master of Arts degree in German literature and linguistics from the University of Düsseldorf.
