Erick Herbst is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Application Engineer Manager at Multotec Group of Companies since April 2013, overseeing both Application Engineers in the Cyclone Division and Application Technicians in the Pump Division. Prior to this role, Herbst gained valuable experience at Anglo Platinum as a Metallurgist on the Advanced Graduate Development Program, where involvement included technical training in mineral processing, hydro-, and pyrometallurgy. Additional roles at Anglo Platinum included Graduate Metallurgist, focusing on commissioning projects, and Student Metallurgist, working on flotation operations and PGM recovery studies. Erick Herbst holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Mineral Processing from North-West University and a Master's degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from the University of Pretoria.
