Ryan Yambra has extensive experience in public affairs and communications within Multnomah County and the State of Oregon. As the Public Affairs Coordinator for Multnomah County since August 2018, Ryan focuses on promoting the county's initiatives through collaboration with journalists and strategic communication. Previous roles include Communications Specialist for the Multnomah County Health Department, responsible for managing diverse communications and creating an organizational brand, and serving as Policy and Constituent Relations Liaison for Multnomah County Chair Deborah Kafoury, where Ryan developed communications for a large audience. Additionally, Ryan worked as a Communications Officer for State Senator Mark Hass, delivering targeted outreach to constituents. Ryan began the career as a Communications Intern at Multnomah County, contributing to significant projects and publications. Ryan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from Willamette University.
