Ashley Blanchard Ruggieri has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Ashley is currently the Director of Alliance Management at the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation - MMRF, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Patient Advocacy and Partnerships at the Kidney Cancer Association from 2021 to 2022.
From 2018 to 2021, Ashley worked at the American Association for Cancer Research as the Associate Director of Corporate Alliances. Before that, they held the position of Director of Advocacy and Strategic Partnerships at Perthera from 2016 to 2018, and also worked as a Business Development Executive at the same company from 2015 to 2016.
Ashley's earlier experiences include working as a Specialty Territory Business Manager at Bristol-Myers Squibb from 2014 to 2015, and as a Biopharmaceutical Sales Representative at Amgen from 2012 to 2014. Ashley also gained valuable experience as a Food Safety and Inspection Service Intern at the USDA in 2012, conducting research and collaborating with other institutions on chemical hazards within FSIS-regulated foods.
Furthermore, Ashley worked as a Laboratory Research Assistant at Pennsylvania State University in 2011, an Intern at South Paw Animal Hospital in 2010, and an Administrative Assistant Intern at Integrated Project Services from 2008 to 2009.
Ashley Blanchard Ruggieri obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Veterinary and Biomedical Science from Penn State University, from 2007 to 2011. Following this, they pursued a Masters of Science degree in Biotechnology from Georgetown University, which they completed in 2012.
