Jan Vaslestad is a Senior Geotekniker at Multiconsult since January 2024 and serves as the owner of GeoAnlegg AS. From July 2008 to December 2023, Jan held the position of Professor II at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences, teaching Geotechnical Engineering and engaging in research. Jan's extensive experience includes working as a Senior Principal Engineer at Statens vegvesen from March 2005 to December 2023, and as a Professor II at Høgskolen i Østfold from August 2008 to December 2020. Additional roles include Visiting Associate Professor at the University of Utah and Visiting Professor at Poznan University of Technology. Jan's educational background consists of a Dr.ing. in Geotechnical Engineering and a Siv.ing. in Civil Engineering, both from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
