Additionally, they worked as a Research Consultant at SENESCYT and held positions at Nikon Research Corporation of America and Xerox Corporation, where they specialized in control systems and dynamics modeling. Rene Sanchez holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, which they obtained from the University of California, Berkeley from 2000 to 2006. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1993 to 1995.
