Ian Scrimgeour is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the Head of Business Development at Mulilo Energy since May 2024. Previously, Ian held the position of Commercial Manager: New Markets at Mainstream Renewable Power from September 2019 to April 2024 and worked as a Senior Energy Analyst at GreenCape, focusing on Green Finance mechanisms for the renewable energy sector in South Africa. Ian’s career also includes roles as a Renewable Energy Consultant at VSO, Partner at Fifth Wall Group, and Renewable Energy Business Development lead at AMDA energia, where Ian engaged in business development across various African countries. Additionally, Ian has experience organizing sustainability initiatives and completed an extensive road trip challenge to promote recycling. Ian holds a B. Bus Sci degree in Finance from the University of Cape Town.
