Edward Gately is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in asset-based finance and specialty lending. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Asset Based Finance for the Americas at MUFG since February 2017, Edward has previously held senior leadership positions at HSBC Commercial Banking, where responsibilities included managing a national specialty lending business with significant commitments and revenues. Earlier roles at Fleet National Bank and Leach & Garner Co. provided Edward with a solid foundation in commercial banking and finance, culminating in a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from Providence College.
