Jason Gregersen

Teaching Professor at Michigan Technological University

Jason Gregersen has had a diverse work experience. Jason started their career as a Machine Gunner in the United States Marine Corp, where they operated and tactically deployed machine guns. Jason then worked as a Shift Supervisor and Screw Machine Operator at ANCHOR COUPLING, where they managed a screw machine department and supervised employees. Currently, Jason is working at Michigan Technological University, where they started as an Assistant Teaching Professor and Math Lab Director, teaching undergraduate courses and running a Mathematica based math lab. Jason then became an Associate Teaching Professor, teaching a variety of classes and building and running online versions of courses. Jason has experience teaching courses with enrollments ranging from 50 to 200 students.

Jason Gregersen received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mathematics Teacher Education from Northern Michigan University in 2009. Jason then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Mathematics at Michigan Technological University, completing it in 2012. In addition to their degrees, Jason holds a Certificate in Online Teaching from the Online Learning Consortium, obtained in 2015. Jason also has a certification in Michigan Secondary Education from the State of Michigan.
