Heather Powers serves as the Associate Director of Digital Content at Michigan Technological University, overseeing content for recruitment and reputation web properties since July 2015. In this role, Heather provides leadership and expertise to the web team and the campus community. Previous positions include Digital Project Manager, where management of university website creation involved all phases from research to launch, and Digital Content Manager for the College of Sciences and Arts, focusing on content management systems and webpage development. Heather also has experience as an Office Assistant, providing administrative support to the Chief Housing Officer. Prior to Michigan Technological University, Heather was the Administrative Assistant to the Dean at Finlandia University, where responsibilities included crafting promotional content and managing communication materials. Heather holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Finlandia University, earned between 2010 and 2015.
