Theuns Prinsloo is an experienced professional in the field of analytics and actuarial science, currently serving as a Senior Manager for Credit Analytics and Data Analytics at MTN since January 2023. Prior to this role, Theuns was the Analytics Leader for Africa at Marsh McLennan from August 2021 to December 2022 and worked as a Senior Model Specialist at Capitec Bank for a brief period in mid-2021. Theuns has a strong background in the insurance sector, having held the position of Head of Actuarial at Bidvest Insurance Group from January 2016 to August 2019, and various roles at Alexander Forbes between 2010 and 2015, including Executive Sales Enablement & Optimization. Additionally, Theuns served as an Actuarial Manager at Deloitte South Africa from October 2009 to December 2010. Academically, Theuns holds a Master's degree in Mathematics and Statistics from Potchefstroom PUKKE and has attained actuarial exemptions in Actuarial Science from the Actuarial faculty.
