J. Ed Barnes is a seasoned professional in the field of medical technology management, currently serving as President of the Medical Technology Management Institute (MTMI) since January 1990, a division of Herzing University focused on continuing education. Additionally, J. Ed Barnes has held the position of Chairman of the Continuing Professional Development Committee for the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) since 1973. J. Ed Barnes previously served as Executive Director of MTMI from 1990 to 2011 and was a member of TAB Boards from 2007 to 2009. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Radiation Biophysics from The University of Kansas and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Central Missouri.
