Mark Tomkins is an experienced engineering manager and consultant with a strong background in geothermal energy projects. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at MTL since September 2024, Mark previously held roles such as Head of Engineering and Product Manager at Emrod from January 2021 to September 2024. Mark's extensive project management experience includes leading significant geothermal projects, such as the 7MW Dominica Geothermal Project and the Ngawha 25MW Geothermal Expansion. Earlier roles included Principal Consultant and Senior Project Manager at Jacobs, where Mark managed various geothermal projects, as well as key engineering positions at Sinclair Knight Merz and P.T. KMI. Mark holds a BE (Elec) Hons in Electrical Engineering from The University of Auckland.
