Minttu Harjula has a diverse work experience. Minttu started their career at Griese, a horse stable in Germany, where they worked as a Rider and groom from October 2001 to October 2002. Minttu then joined the Agricultural Data Processing Centre as a Customer service representative and worked there from 2006 to 2011. In 2012, they joined the University of Helsinki as a Groom, where they worked until September 2013. Since April 2014, they have been working at Mtech Digital Solutions, initially as an Advisor and currently as a Software Designer.

Minttu Harjula obtained a Bachelor's degree from HAMK University of Applied Sciences in 2007. Their degree was in the field of Agricultural and Rural Industries with a specialization in horse management. Following this, they pursued higher education at the University of Helsinki and completed their Master of Science degree in Agriculture and Forestry in 2011. Their focus of study during their master's program was Agricultural Economics.
