Shona Lang currently serves as a Director at Mtech Access, where roles have included Associate Director and Senior Consultant focused on evidence synthesis and systematic reviews since September 2020. Additionally, Shona acts as a Pre-clinical and biomedical systematic review specialist at BioEvidence. Previous positions include Reviews Manager at Kleijnen Systematic Reviews Ltd (2010 - July 2020) and Volunteer Systematic Reviewer at Evidence Aid (2011 - 2020), where responsibilities encompassed project management, systematic reviews, and research in the humanitarian sector. Past research experience includes roles as a Wellcome Research Fellow (2005 - 2009) at Wellcome Trust, a Research Fellow at Yorkshire Cancer Research (1997 - 2002), and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The Paterson Institute for Cancer Research (1994 - 1997). Shona Lang holds a PhD in Cancer Studies and a BSc Hons in Biological Sciences, both from The University of Edinburgh.
