Rommel Leon is a Senior Database Engineer at MSIGHTS since September 2011, specializing in data modeling for the mSights platform across various databases including SQL Server, AWS RDS, and Redshift. Responsibilities include developing ETL modules using SQL Server, SSIS, Visual Studio, Python, and Java. Previously, Rommel worked as an Oracle Developer at OXXO, focusing on Oracle forms and reports for the retail management system, and held roles as a Software Developer and IT Coordinator at ITESM Campus Monterrey, where development involved .NET and PHP solutions for student information management and IT resource administration. Rommel holds a Master’s Degree in Information Technology from Tecnológico de Monterrey and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Instituto Tecnológico de Chetumal.
