Matthea Roemer is an experienced professional in public health with a focus on reproductive health, evidence, and research management. Currently serving as Innovation, Evidence & Research Manager at MSI Reproductive Choices since October 2019, previous roles include Senior Evidence & Impact Advisor and Evidence & Analytics Advisor. Prior to that, Roemer worked as a Research Consultant at amfAR, supporting a mixed-methods study related to the Global Gag Rule's impact, and as a Program Officer with the Rwanda Zambia HIV Research Group, managing programs aligned with PEPFAR guidelines. Other positions include Graduate Research Fellow at Jhpiego and Graduate Research Assistant at both the Bill & Melinda Gates Institute for Population and Reproductive Health and The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Matthea Roemer holds a Master’s of Science in Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Community and Global Health from Macalester College.
