Franz Wittmer is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as the National Sales Director for Oncology at MSD Deutschland since February 2022, Franz previously held the position of Teamlead Biomarker at MSD from July 2019. Additional experience includes partnership at Trainingsschmiede from September 2009 to February 2022, and an Associate Director role in Commercial Excellence at Vertex Pharmaceuticals from June 2018 to June 2019. Earlier in their career, Franz worked as a Senior Trainer and Professional Trainer at MSD Sharp & Dohme GmbH from August 2005 to December 2009. Academic credentials include a Doctorate in Chemistry from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau, earned between 1989 and 1999.
