Chitra Hepburn is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) strategies. Currently serving as the APAC Head of ESG & Climate at MSCI Inc. since July 2019, Chitra is also the Head of South and Southeast Asia. Previously, Chitra was the Managing Director at ESG Global, where the focus was on developing ESG strategies for companies at various stages of non-financial performance reporting. Chitra's experience includes significant roles at Bayer as the VP of Sustainability & Corporate Communications for Greater China and leading the Corporate Development Hub at Bayer MaterialScience. Chitra's career also includes positions at China Greentech, WestLB, Deutsche Bank, and Dresdner Bank AG. Chitra holds a Master of Science in Environmental Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
