Charles Young has extensive work experience, having worked in a variety of roles since 1984. Their career began at Hewlett-Packard Company, where they worked as a Sales Representative, Call Center Manager, Systems Engineering Manager, and Software Development Manager. In 2007, they joined Blue Coat Systems, Inc. as a Premium Services Support Manager. In 2012, they moved to 8x8, Inc. as a Sr. Manager Customer On-Boarding. In 2016, they joined MovoCash, Inc. as Head Of Operations, Chief Compliance Officer, Head of Program Operations, and Director of Consumer Ops. In addition, they were an Investor at Granville Cafe from 2006.

Charles Young attended the University of Hawaii, College of Business from 1982 to 1984 and earned a Bachelors of Business Administration in Management Information Systems.
