Aaron Roffel is a highly experienced engineering professional currently serving as Senior Vice President of Product & Engineering at Movable Ink since February 2022, with a history of advancing roles including Vice President and Senior Director of Engineering. Prior experience includes leadership positions at Coherent Path, where Roffel was Director of Engineering and Operations and Services, and at Simpson Gumpertz & Heger Inc. as Staff II - Structures. Earlier career highlights feature a role as Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo, where Roffel developed finite element models and conducted field data monitoring, along with serving as an Adjunct Lecturer. Roffel began career as a Structural Design Engineer at MTE Consultants Inc., specializing in detailed design calculations and computer-aided analysis. Roffel holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Civil/Structural Engineering with a focus on Structural Dynamics, and a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Honours Civil Engineering, both from the University of Waterloo.
