Kenny Nguyen is a Mechanical Engineering student at San Jose State University. Kenny has experience as a Test Engineering Intern at Mountz Torque, a Consultant at Senna Staffing, LLC - SSi Racing School, and as an EV Final Drive Systems Designer at Spartan Racing, SJSU Formula SAE. Kenny worked on designing the EV car (SR-14) for the 2023 Formula SAE MIS event, focusing on gear ratios, clutch pack differentials, and chassis compliance. Kenny previously worked on the internal combustion car (SR-13) for the 2022 event, designing the fuel system layout. In addition, Kenny has experience as a Deck Manager at American Swim Academy, where Kenny focused on customer communication, swimming instruction, and team coordination.
