Khaldoun Al-Moosawi serves as the Emergency Department Medical Director at Elbert Memorial Hospital since June 2019 and as an Emergency Medicine Physician at Mountain Lakes Medical Center since January 2020. Additionally, Khaldoon is the Founder and Chairman of Mercy Hands Europe and the Founder/Chairman of Mercy Hands for Humanitarian Aid, roles held since December 2019 and August 2004, respectively. Previous experience includes positions as an ER/Hospitalist Physician at HospitalMD, Emergency Physician at Southern Regional Medical Center, and Sleep Medicine Physician at FusionSleep. Khaldoon completed a fellowship in Sleep Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and holds an M.D. from Atlanta Medical Center, along with a Master of Public Health from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Education also includes an International Diploma in Humanitarian Assistance from Fordham University and an MBChB from Al-Nahrain College of Medicine.
