Shimon Hakshouri MD, MBA, FACP is an experienced healthcare leader currently serving as the Associate Chief Medical Officer at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach since July 2017. In addition, Shimon holds the position of Physician Advisor and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Florida International University (FIU). Previously, Shimon held the role of Director of Hospital Medicine and Assistant Professor of Medicine at both HCA Healthcare Physician Services Group and Northwell Health, contributing to medical education at FIU and Hofstra University, respectively. Earlier in the career, Shimon was Director of Hospital Medicine and Assistant Professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and served as a Resident Physician at Jacobi Medical Center. Shimon Hakshouri earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Miami Herbert Business School in 2018.
