Jonathan Fernandez serves as the AVP of Facilities at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, having held various roles such as Director of Construction and Senior Project Manager since February 2017. With a background in civil engineering, Jonathan previously worked as a Civil Engineer with Miami-Dade County and as a Superintendent for TGSV Enterprises, Inc., where significant projects included the construction and renovation of key medical facilities and infrastructure. Additional experience includes roles at Edgewater Construction Group and Miami-Dade County Water and Sewer Department, focusing on project management, engineering, and construction oversight. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Florida International University and has a foundational education from Valley Forge Military Academy & College.
