Rosemarie Sampson is a Senior Policy Analyst with the Crime Prevention & Aboriginal Community Safety Division at Public Safety Canada. Rosemarie has held this position since September 2015.

Prior to their current role, Rosemarie was a Student Researcher with Correctional Service of Canada from August 2014 to November 2015.

From September 2010 to April 2013, Rosemarie was a Research Coordinator at Mount Saint Vincent University, where they oversaw research projects on topics such as probability and delay discounting as causal factors of gambling behaviour, the effects of bilateral saccadic eye movements on memory for emotional scenes, and reaction to emotional events: effects of emotion on episodic memory.

Rosemarie is currently a Member of the Board of Governors at Mount Saint Vincent University.

Rosemarie Sampson has a Master’s Degree in Experimental Psychology with a Forensic/Criminology stream from Carleton University. Rosemarie also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology (Honours) from Mount Saint Vincent University as well as a Bachelor of Arts - BA from Athabasca University.
