Sabra Jones has extensive experience in both ministry and public service. Currently serving as Assistant Pastor and Church Administrator at Mount Olive Baptist Church since July 2005, Sabra has fostered community engagement and spiritual growth within the congregation. Prior experience includes the role of Conference Center Director at Strategic Analysis Incorporated from 1999 to 2005 and Clerk for the County Board at Arlington County Government from 1993 to 1999. Sabra is pursuing a Doctor of Ministry in Womanist Preaching at Memphis Theological Seminary, having previously earned a Master of Divinity from Wesley Theological Seminary (2016) and a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from Virginia Commonwealth University (1982). Educational foundations were built at the University of Virginia, where Sabra completed an undergraduate degree between 1976 and 1980.
