Ming Tan is a Technical Principal at Mott MacDonald since August 2008, overseeing the Nuclear division with a focus on the new nuclear sector and leading the advanced analysis team specializing in finite element modeling and the design of structures to withstand various extreme hazards. Prior to this role, Ming Tan worked as an Engineer at Halcrow from April 2003 to August 2008, contributing strong analytical skills to nuclear and renewable energy projects. Before that, Ming Tan served as a Graduate Engineer at Mouchel plc. from August 2001 to April 2003, participating in diverse energy and defense projects. Ming Tan holds a PhD and a BEng (Hon) in Civil Engineering from the University of Nottingham, obtained between 1996 and 2001.
