Amila Liyanage is an experienced IT professional specializing in governance, risk, and compliance. Currently serving as an IT Governance, Risk and Compliance Analyst at prosource.it since May 2024, Amila previously held the position of Assistant Manager - IT Risk and Compliance at MAS Holdings from March 2015 to September 2022, where responsibilities included enhancing the IT Security Risk Management Process and developing information security policies in line with ISO 27001 standards. Prior experience includes roles as an Executive - IT Systems at MAS Holdings, a Technology Advisory Associate at EY, and an intern at Noritake Lanka Porcelain (pvt) Ltd. Additionally, Amila served as a Visiting Lecturer at IDM Computer Studies Private Limited, teaching subjects related to project management and web development. Amila's educational background includes a Master's degree in Cybersecurity from the University of Sunderland and a Bachelor's in Information Technology from the University of Colombo, along with a BSc in Business Management from Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka.
