Carrie Owens is an experienced editor and content engineer with a strong background in the animation and film industry. Since 2017, Carrie has served as an Assistant Editor at the Motion Picture Editors Guild, while also contributing as a Content Engineer and Editor at GlobalLogic since 2024. Notably, Carrie worked at Cartoon Network Studios from 2019 to October 2023, where involvement in multiple projects included five seasons of "Summer Camp Island," which was a 2023 Peabody Nominee, and several other acclaimed series such as "Adventure Time: Distant Lands," "We Baby Bears," and "Infinity Train." Earlier career roles include assistant editing for Warner Bros. Animation and producing video content at the Kripalu Center. Carrie holds a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, supplemented by education at the Maine Media Workshops.
