Carlos Perez Toro is an experienced software engineer currently serving as an Intermediate Software Engineer within Data and AI Services at Publix Super Markets since August 2024. Prior to this role, Carlos worked at Mothership and contributed to the Reactime open-source project, where notable achievements included a nomination for the Productivity Booster award at the React Open Source Awards 2020 and the development of a Chrome DevTools extension for time-travel state debugging in React applications. Carlos also has a diverse background in project development, including creating an API server for Fairpay and developing chat applications and social media aggregators. Earlier in Carlos's career, significant experience was gained as a patent attorney at various prestigious law firms, representing major corporations in patent matters. Carlos holds a Doctor of Law from Georgetown University Law Center, a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Purdue University, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez.
