Lucrezia De Cristofaro has extensive experience in bioprocess development, currently working at Mosa Meat since May 2021, where responsibilities include large-scale cell and tissue culture in bioreactor systems and optimizing these systems through collaboration with engineers and team members. Prior to this role, Lucrezia worked as a freelance biology and chemistry tutor from 2017 to 2019 and completed internships in molecular medicine and pathology molecular laboratories at Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, where skills in cell culture, PCR, and DNA/RNA extraction were developed. Lucrezia holds a Master of Epidemiology from Maastricht University (2020-2021), a Master's degree in Molecular Biology, and a Bachelor's degree in Biological Science from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II.
