Alastair is a Senior Associate and Notary Public within the Litigation Division which is one of the largest and most experienced litigation teams in Scotland.

Alastair has a particular interest and expertise in contentious construction matters particularly in cases involving professional negligence claims against professionals in the construction sector. During Alastair's career he has gained significant experience in sensitive commercial litigation and has successfully represented and advised clients in proceedings in the Sheriff Court, Sheriff Appeal Court, First Tier Tribunal for Scotland, Lands Tribunal for Scotland, the Scottish Land Court and the Court of Session. Alastair also has a proven record of resolving disputes through mediation.

Alastair is comfortable working with a broad spectrum of clients and has been a principal point of contact for insurers, SMEs, government bodies, local authorities and private clients in a wide range of disputes.
