Lynne Friedlander has extensive experience in the museum and nonprofit sectors, currently serving as a member of the Mercantile Library Board since March 2023 and as a member of the Board of Advisors for The Morton Arboretum since July 2009. Lynne has held various roles, including Volunteer and Membership Sales Associate at The Morton Arboretum, and has been involved with Families Helping Families as a Board of Advisors member and Mentor since January 2015. As an Independent Consultant for Beautycounter since October 2018, Lynne advocates for safer skincare and cosmetics. Previous positions included Registrar at Loaves & Fishes Community Services and Motorola Solutions, as well as Curator of Collections and Registrar at Elmhurst Historical Museum. Lynne holds a Bachelor's Degree in American Studies/American History from Hobart and William Smith Colleges and multiple Master's Degrees in History Museum Studies and Museology from SUNY Oneonta and The Cooperstown Graduate Program.
