Fran Mordi serves as the Vice President of Tax, Accounting, and Financial Management at the Mortgage Bankers Association since May 2017, and also holds the position of General Counsel for the WHF Board. Previously, Fran was a Tax Manager at Deloitte Tax LLP from June 2015 to May 2017, specializing in tax controversy issues and global information reporting. Prior experience includes a decade at the American Bankers Association as Vice President/Tax Counsel, where significant industry wins were achieved on IRS exam issues. Early career roles include Tax Associate positions at Gardner Carton Douglas and Powell Goldstein LLP, and a brief tenure as an attorney at KPMG. Education includes an LLM in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center and a JD from New England Law | Boston.
