Fergal Lynch is an experienced Stress Engineer with a strong background in aeronautical engineering, holding a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and a Master of Engineering (MEng) from Queen's University Belfast. Currently employed at Morson Projects since February 2021, Fergal contributes to the BAe Systems Tempest Programme. Previous roles include significant projects at BOMBARDIER, where Fergal focused on the A220-100/300’s wing fixed trailing edge, and Spirit AeroSystems working on the A350 XWB wing fixed leading edge. Fergal also has extensive experience at Morson International and Morson Projects, where roles included developing finite element models and performing stress calculations. Earlier career highlights include systems engineering roles at Morson Projects and Smiths Aerospace, contributing to aircraft design and qualification efforts.
