Victor Yifeng Guo, CFA has a diverse work experience in the field of corporate governance, M&A, and activism. Victor Yifeng is currently serving as the Managing Director and Head of M&A and Activism, Corporate Governance and ESG (Canada) at Morrow Sodali. Prior to this, they worked as the President of FrontLine Advisors Inc., where they specialized in complex shareholder matters, governance structure design, and investment monitoring. Victor also served as the Executive Vice President at Kingsdale Advisors, focusing on governance special situations. Earlier in their career, they worked at ISS | Institutional Shareholder Services as the Vice President of M&A and Proxy Contest Research and as a Senior Associate. Additionally, they gained experience as a Senior Associate at Morgan Geare. Victor started their career as a Research Associate at Oliver Wyman Group and NERA Economic Consulting.

Victor Yifeng Guo, CFA holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance, Economics, and Mathematics from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management, which they obtained from 2002 to 2005. Victor Yifeng further pursued their education at INSEAD in 2010 to 2011, where they obtained an MBA degree with a focus on Finance and Blue Ocean Strategy. In addition to their academic achievements, Victor has gained various certifications, including a Certificate in ESG Investing from the CFA Institute in December 2021, a CFA Charterholder designation obtained in September 2013, and the highest level of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT Level N1) from The Japan Foundation in December 2007.
