Ben Smith has a diverse work experience, starting in 2000 as a Development Manager for the Borough Council of Kings Lynn & West Norfolk, where they managed a leisure complex. Ben then moved on to Kajima Partnerships Limited, where they worked as a Regional Operations Manager for community and extended use. In 2010, they joined the Robertson Group as a Senior Communities Manager and later took on roles such as Development Manager (England), Head of Development & Communities, and Development Director. Most recently, they worked as a Group Director at Morris & Spottiswood, focusing on operational delivery within public and private sectors. Overall, Ben has extensive experience in facilities management and development, with a track record of achieving customer excellence and operational service delivery.
Ben Smith attended Gosforth High School. After graduating from high school, they enrolled in Newcastle College, where they obtained a BTEC National Diploma in Leisure Management. Following this, they pursued a Higher National Diploma in Leisure Management from the same institution. Later, they attended the University of Sunderland, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with honors in Business Administration and Management.
