Joel Laber has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Joel started their career in 2011 at TRW Automotive as a Rack and Pinion Engineer, where they worked until July 2012. Subsequently, they joined Faurecia in October 2012 as a Co-op Product Development Engineer, and ended their tenure there in February 2014. Joel then joined Morrell Inc in February 2014 as a Hydraulic Engineer, and worked until April 2016. In March 2018, they started working at Morrell Group as a Hydraulic Systems Engineer, where they are currently employed.

Joel Laber received their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Machine Design and Fluid Power from Kettering University. Joel attended the university from 2009 to 2013.
