Matt Glover is a highly experienced professional in the field of building surveying and fire safety, currently serving as a Municipal Building Surveyor for Mornington Peninsula Shire since February 2023. In addition to this role, Matt is a CFA Volunteer Fire Fighter and Grassland Curing Observer, and has been the Principal Investigator and Auditor for Australian Forensic Building Investigators since 2000. Matt's extensive academic involvement includes positions as a lecturer in Built Environment at RMIT University, Holmesglen, Chisholm Institute, and various other institutions since 2010. Previously, Matt held the position of State-wide Building Surveyor at Fire Rescue Victoria, where significant expertise in fire safety and planning regulations was demonstrated. Matt possesses multiple degrees and qualifications, including an MBA from Charles Sturt University and a Graduate Diploma in Building Surveying from the University of South Australia. In addition to being a full member of the Planning Institute of Australia, Matt is recognized for excellence through membership in the Golden Key International Honour Society.
