Drew Adamek is a seasoned editor and journalist with extensive experience in media, currently serving as Editor and Senior Reporter for CFO Brew at Morning Brew since May 2022. A freelance writer and researcher since 2001, Drew has contributed to major media outlets, notably developing significant political corruption stories for CBS Evening News. Previous roles include Lead Magazine Publisher for Financial Management Magazine, Senior Editor at AICPA, and Managing Editor at Balkan Insight, where substantial contributions to journalism were made through the commissioning and editing of numerous stories. Drew co-founded Story Club Belgrade, a unique bilingual storytelling event, and has also engaged in academia as a journalism instructor, fostering the next generation of journalists. Drew holds a BA in News Writing and Reporting from Columbia College Chicago.
