Jason Cantor

Jason Cantor is an accomplished investigator at the Morgridge Institute for Research since August 2018, focusing on the interplay between human cell growth and environmental factors relevant to cancer and immunology. In addition, Jason serves as an Assistant Professor of Biochemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, contributing to various academic programs including Biomedical Engineering and several graduate programs in Cancer Biology. Prior to these roles, Jason was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Whitehead Institute from July 2011 to August 2018, concentrating on the impact of environmental factors on metabolic regulation in cancer cells, and at The University of Texas at Austin from December 2010 to July 2011, where efforts were directed towards engineering therapeutic enzymes with lower immunogenicity for cancer treatment. Jason holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University.
